Punjab to Jaisalmer Tour 2022 – Hey friends, this is Harish Goyal. I was going to Jaisalmer on 15th Nov 2021 to 19th Nov 2021. Today I share my personal experience about Jaisalmer tour.

How we reach Punjab to Jaisalmer Tour at lowest Price

I belong to Dhuri City (Sangrur District) Punjab. Firstly I pick a train from Dhuri to Bathinda on 07.30 AM. The name of train is Shri Ganganagar Intercity Express. The ticket fare of this train from Dhuri to Bathinda is Rs.50. I was reached Bathinda approx. 09.40 AM.  The timing of my next train was 10.45 AM from Bathinda to Lalgarh Passenger. This time I pay a train fare of Rs.60 from Bathinda to Lalgarh Junction. This train takes approx. 7 hours to reach Lalgarh Junction.

Finally, I reached Lalgarh Junction on 7.00 PM. Here I face some difficulty because my next train from Lalgarh Junction to Jaisalmer was start from 11.17 PM and I had 4 hours to wait it. If you are going Jaisalmer with your friends then it is ok otherwise alone person will face 4 hours waiting period. Travelers can visit Lalgarh junction like eating food, take some rest during these four hours.

Now finally I was ready to go to Jaisalmer City on 11.17 PM. In that train I had reservation. The sleeper class reservation charges was Rs.245/- per passenger. The name of train is “Leelan SF Express”. In early morning approx. 5.00 AM I was reached Jaisalmer (The Golden City of India).

Places to Visit in Jaisalmer Tour

There are lots of places to visit like Jaisalmer Fort, Patwon ki Haveli, Bada Bagh, Sam Sand Dunes, Heritage Museum, Gadisar Lake, Haveli of Nathmal, Jain Temples, Kuldhara and Salim Singh ki Haveli. But I was interested to do some adventures like Jeep/ Desert Safari, and Parasailing in Jaisalmer.

Jeep Safari

The price of Jeep Safari was vary according your distance and interest. I was pay Rs.500 for 10 Km Jeep Safari. You can easily bargain with jeep safari driver. It was approx. 37 km away from Jaisalmer city center.

Desert Safari

The price of desert safari is just Rs.50/- for 1 Km distance. It was very nice experience to get Desert as well as Jeep Safari.

Jaisalmer Fort

I was also visited Jaisalmer Fort. The fort was famous for its Architecture, History and Photography. The ticket to visit the fort is Rs.30 only for Indians and Rs.70 for Foreigners. The opening time of Jaisalmer Fort is from 09.00 AM to 05.00 PM in all days. The fort was created by King Jaisal during 1156 AD. It was the India’s first fort in which 4000 people reside.

My Residing

I was resided in Camp. I was paid Rs.1500 per night in camp, breakfast included. In camp, you can play some games like volleyball and in night the camping team organized Rajasthani Dance for their visitors and also DJ system. You can sing a song and dance with your partner/ family members or friends.

It was a great experience to go there. I really enjoyed the tour. Anyone can go with their family/ friends within the cheapest price.
